We are a family Blacksmith located in Clydebank and have specialised in the design, fabrication and fitting of driveway gates since 1989. All of our metal driveway gates are fabricated in our Clydebank workshop which means that they are built specifically to fit your property – and at a great price. Whether that means matching existing metalwork, modern, tradition, simple or elaborate.
Garden Gates
Clydeside gates are proud to offer a wide variety of metal garden gates and side gates. All of our garden gates are fabricated by our Blacksmith in our Clydebank workshop. We offer a full range of designs and finishes to suit your property. As a family Blacksmith we have three decades of experience supplying the West of Scotland with expertly crafted wrought iron garden gates. All of our metal (wrought iron) gates are built to the highest quality.
Side Gates
Tall garden side gates come in many designs and are built to suit all budgets and needs. We have many designs that we have built previously or we can work with you to choose a specific design and fabricate unique gates based on your specifications. From a simple functional gate that provides additional security to modern designs or elaborate traditional gates. Any design can be accomodated.

What designs do you have?

We have many designs that we have made previously and we are also happy to build to any design that you have seen or have a photo of. When we call to measure up for your quote we can chat through the options.
What finishes do you use on your metal gates?

Usually one coat of specialist primer (undercoat) and two top coats of black gloss. This will keep your gates looking great for many years to come. We can also paint in other colours of your choice or galvanise and powdercoat at your request.
Do you repair gates?

Sorry we do not repair gates. We only build and fit new ones. It is not economically viable for us to travel to your property to carry out small repairs.
How long will it take to make and fit my new gate?
More Info
Typically two to four weeks. However, this depends on the size of the gate, the complexity of the design and how busy we are.
Do you work with wood or composite for gates?

Sorry, we do not. As skilled Blacksmiths we specialise in metal only products.
